. . . Super thankful for someone who is older and wiser than me always pouring into me and really treating me like a good friend - super proud of you and how you have handled adversity and how you keep making such an impact of peoples lives! Keep being you! Love ya man- have a great day!
. . . . words cannot express how much you mean to me! Forever thankful for how you continue to pour into me and shape me into being a man of the Lord! Love you and I hope you have an amazing day!
It [Thatcher House] was where I started really taking my faith journey seriously, I learned and gained a lot of good wisdom. I think the best part was being there with my best friends and getting to grow in Christ with them. Knowing that whatever I was going through someone else was going through or you . . . . had gone through the same thing made it a very safe space to where I felt like I didn’t have to hold anything back. Many of the lessons I learned I carried on and still practice today.
Thatcher and the events that have taken place there have shaped my life in ways that I’m very grateful for. Learning how to navigate through the Bible, as well as study it, memorize it, and apply it something I’ll be carrying with me all my life. The best part of Thatcher is the openness that is present when you first walk in. There is no judgement on where you are in life or your walk with Christ. The relationships made at Thatcher are real and authentic and always available.
The Thatcher House has played a huge role in my life and it has shaped me into the man I am today. Although I’m not perfect and I’m far from that, the leadership . . . . are the two people I strive to be like every single day and I am forever grateful for them from that.
My time at the Thatcher House has been nothing short of the best memories I’ve made. Being around my best friends . . . learning more about the Lord and learning how to defend what I believe in. Preparing ourselves for what the real world is going to look like, and how to turn to the Lord in those times. My time was filled with many serious moments and even some tears, but many more laughs and heartfelt moments. When I think about how good I had it . . . being at the Thatcher House is always the first thing to remind me of it. Every Monday was just reminding myself that at the end of the week, I got to go back and spend more time there.
Going to the Thatcher house has changed my walk with Jesus tremendously. Dave has shown what it really means to have faith that is mine and not inherited. Learning that everyone’s relationship with Jesus is another thing that Dave has shown me and it’s important not to compare myself to others in that manner. Kenny has been a beacon of light to me in my life. He has used his life experiences to teach me how a Godly man should walk in life and how influential relationships can be. Both have changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful that God has brought them into my life.
